Olliven is a warm and highly experienced doula, Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Infant Care Specialist, and Postpartum Doula with nearly two decades of expertise supporting infants and families. With a strong background in healthcare and newborn care, she blends professional knowledge with compassion to provide families with both confidence and comfort during the early stages of parenthood.
For the past 18 years, Olliven has specialized in infant development, offering guidance with feeding, sleep, and bonding. Her 14 years as a newborn specialist have refined her ability to meet the unique needs of families as they adjust to life with a new baby. In addition to her work with families, she mentors future nursing professionals as an LPN Tutor, reflecting her commitment to both caregiving and education.

We had an amazing experience with Olliven as our night nanny. She was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and provided excellent care for our newborn. If you are expecting and looking for help, Olliven is the answer. We were hesitant about the financial commitment needed for the overnight help - but Olliven was a gift to our family. From the moment we got home with our son, she was the calming force to my husband and I as new parents. Showing us the endless “how tos” with a newborn, helping us get our infant on a schedule (he was sleeping through the night by 9 weeks!), guiding and reassuring me through the highs and lows of feeding, and even cooking for my husband and I (she loves cooking - it’s a passion of hers!). If anyone is looking for a nurturing and caring extra set of hands - we cannot recommend her enough! She is and will remain a special part of our “family.”
Olliven was an absolute godsend. Originally we opted not to have a night nurse (a mistake we won’t make again), but after our son was still not sleeping well at three months old we were exhausted and needed some help! Olliven was a calming presence from the minute I spoke to her on the phone and quickly worked to get our son on a better sleep schedule. She had a kind, warm way about her and is *so* knowledgeable about all things baby - we would have been lost without her. If you are considering a night nurse I really can’t recommend Olliven enough!
We couldn't recommend Olliven more. She truly is a baby whisperer, a true professional, and is great to work and live with - deeply knowledgeable yet flexible and gentle. Within one feed, she solved a feeding problem we couldn't figure out how to solve; we had seen multiple doctors, GI experts, etc, yet she solved it within one feed. We even extended our contract with her because she was so helpful in improving our child's sleep, ultimately enabling him to sleep the whole night through. We had worked with several other baby nurses, and she really is a cut above in her professionalism and expertise. I trust her judgment 100% and would recommend her to any family.
