Casey is a Certified Postpartum and Infant Care Doula through ProDoula, holds a Lactation Education Counselor certificate through the University of San Diego, is a trained Newborn Care Specialist through Newborn Care Solutions, and studied respectful caregiving for infants (RIE). With her undergraduate degree in exercise science and her master’s degree in counseling, she understands the importance of focusing on the social, emotional and physical experiences of postpartum families. Casey has expanded her knowledge on human development and has worked with children in every developmental stage, with an emphasis on newborn milestones and care techniques. Throughout her career, she had the privilege of working with a diverse group of families from coast to coast giving Casey the opportunity to learn about different cultures and their childcare perspectives. As a birth worker, Casey believes in a whole family approach and individualizing the care and support she provides to fit each family’s needs. She focuses her support on helping families during the transition of welcoming a new baby into the home and understands how important and special this time is. Casey’s goal is to help families thrive, not just survive. It takes a village to raise a child, and she is honored to continue to be a support in so many villages.
Hiring Casey was one of the best decisions we made as new parents — I recommend her completely and we feel lucky to have found her. She supported our family from August-September 2025, coming one night a week for four weeks to help us care for our newborn twin girls. Those early weeks with twins were a lot, and having Casey there made an enormous difference. She handled everything from the moment she arrived - diaper changes, bottle prep and cleaning, formula prep and breastmilk prep and storage. She helped with sleep conditioning with the girls, making sure they were swaddled, comfortable and cared for. She came in and just knew what to do, which was exactly what we needed.
In addition to the gift of sleep, we learned so much from Casey. She was such an incredible resource to us as nervous, new parents. She helped me with pumping schedules, taught us how to read the girls' cues, gave us tips on every aspect of parenting and answered every question we had. It was clear that Casey's guidance comes from years of experience as well as a wealth of formal and science-based knowledge.
What I'll remember most is how much care and love she showed our girls. We could tell she genuinely adored them, and that made it so easy for me to actually rest while she was there. She felt like a member of the family in those early days, encouraging us to recharge and anticipating any needs we had.
She is also just a pleasure to be around. A friendly face to see in the middle of the night, easy to talk to, and genuinely warm. Any family would be so lucky to have her.
